FAQ: Pertaining to 2018 Conference only.

PayPal will not accept my business credit card.

 Answer: Check with your business accountant/manager if payment cannot be completed.  Authorized cards may have restrictions for types of payment. Some government issued cards (i.e. university, agencies like the EPA, etc.) have tiered restrictions within PayPal.  This issue must be resolved with contacting PayPal directly or the business manager for the credit card being used.


I want to register several people, but am unable to do so.  

Answer: Each conference attendee or presenter must complete their own registration without submitting payment.  Once all attendees are registered then a Batch Payment can be generated that allows for payment of more than one invoice.  It is important for each attendee to have their own registration so that we can have contact with them with pre-conference information, a post-conference evaluation and gather membership information for profit sharing.


I can’t attend and want to send a colleague in my place.

 Answer: There will be no charge for substituting another attendee for a paid registration, but the request must be made by email to by the person originally registered or by a district administrator or secretary.  The person who is the substituting attendee must fill out an online registration form in their name in order to complete the transfer of registration.


I am a new mother.  Is there a place where I can care for feeding my infant?  

Answer: We have a room set aside for women who need to feed their infants.  The Pre-Registration desk personnel can direct you to the room. Electricity and chairs are available.  Equipment may be left in the room or at the Pre-Registration desk.


I want to pay for several people.  

Answer: Use the Batch Payment button to submit payments for multiple invoices.


I am a presenter/co-presenter.  Do I need to register?

Answer: All presenters and co-presenters are required to register for the conference.  


I need an invoice or a receipt.  How do I get one?

Answer: Invoices are generated at the time of registration online.  Receipt for payment are generated when payment is received either via PayPal or check.  All receipts are sent to the email address provided with the online registration submission.


What is available for lunch?  

Answer: You may purchase lunch at the Mart (about $12), bring a sack lunch, or visit one of the fast food restaurants across the street.


Is college credit available?  

Answer: We regret that we are not able to offer college credit for attending the Colorado Science Conference.


When can I get an attendance certificate?

Answer: We cannot jeopardize our ability to give CDE certificates of attendance by providing them to persons who did not attend the entire day.  Therefore attendance certificates for 5 clock hours will only be distributed to persons in attendance at 4:00 p.m.
